Rockland Rotarians Doug Curtis, Jr., Butch Worcester, President Carol Worcester, and Bob Bird traveled to Alma to celebrate the plaque unveiling of the "Rotary Friendship Tree" between Alma, Quebec and Rockland, Maine. A "Rotary Friendship Tree" symbolizes enduring international goodwill, fellowship, and community service within the Rotary organization. The Rotary Club of Alma planted a tree earlier to represent the connection with the Rotary Club of Rockland. The planting of trees supports a greener planet and fosters community spirit.
